Motor Soldering

My PN Speedy motor arrived today and I need to figure out how to solder it onto the connecting thing that connects with the ESC.

unless you plan on swapping motors a lot...Then you may want to get a micro-soldering pen and a needle-point tip. (Radio shack does not sell these).

you could just pry the two little mettal tabs one the end of the motor out and switch the endballs. i dont know what a PN speedy motor is though.

Pnracing speedy motor is a 130 motor like the xmod motors. Yea u can choose to hardwire the motor or use a connector so u can swap motors. I just recieve my Pnracing S03 motor today. I have upgraded fet's, i just hardwire the motor. Im not going to change my motor. Just desolder the connector and solder it to ur new motor.

At home, I have pretty much the same thing, but it is the older model (Weller WCC100) with the same specs. I always use the finest tip they have (ETS type), which is why I'm not afraid to do FET stacking and that sort of thing. Having a good quality soldering iron around is never a bad thing.
