AA vs. AAA vs. AAAA

Which would best to use when adding and extra cell?

Considering that it is not wise to mix battery types / sizes, your best bet is to stick with AAA.

ok thanks...but when/if i add and extra cell, would i have to put Ic3s in all of them? and if i did do that, would i have to have a battery in the extra cell(s) for it too run?

If you add the extra battery holder, you will either have to have the extra batteries in it or some kind of conductive spacer to complete the circuit for the car to run.

Being as how the IC3's have a higher capacity than other batteries, it is best not to mix them up with other brands. You want to keep your batteries equal in voltage and mah.

thanks for the info.

by the way, have you ever tried the Duracell ProCell batteries? In my opinion, they are the best alkalines and maybe the best batteries overall. when i put them in, it went about 5x faster than the other alkalines (brand new) i was using. they are a bit pricey but try them.

I use the IC3's. They are a little more powerfull than other batteries IMO, and rechargable. I would rather not waste money constantly buying alkalines. I might try them one time though to see if they are in fact better than the IC3's.

About the alkalines.....maybe they are better to keep buying, because they only cost around 3-4 dollars USD, and rechargeables can cost a lot, but everytime you use them, it will add to your electric billing for the house....still, they do beat wasting money on gas and driving to the nearest RadioShack.

Let's see.....

IC3 Charger and 4 AAA batteries:
Total cost: $45
(Batteries can be charged 1000 times.)

1000 X 4 "AAA" Alkalines (@$3 for 4 pack):
Total cost: $3000

The power consumption isn't even noticable on your (parent's) power bill. Besides, they pay that don't they?

Man, that isn't the first time you've attacked me because of my inferior knowledge about these things.

Relax, I know I'm not smart, I don't think I know everything.....if you're going to insult me because of that, take a hike man.

Actually you do think you know everything...that was evident in you guide to souping up an xmod or whatever...we tried to tell you that AWD doesn't hurt drifting...but you were like" wrong. actually is does hinder drifting" or something along those lines. Just think about stuff before you respond to it...do you actually think charging 4 AAA batteries is going to effect anything??

You know I still think AWD hurts drifting....It increases traction, right? Ok, and if it increases traction, then there is less of a chance of drifting, right? Ok then.....

#1 lets not make ppl sad ok, huis guide was actually trying to help u, and if u dont wanna use it dont, he was just trying to help

#2 i dont have an AWD kit, but logic would tell me that if you have better traction, u wont drift as well, now thats just what i think it might be wrong...

ENOUGH WITH MAKING PPL FEEL BAD, SECOND TIME iVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN ON THE FORUM IN 2 DAYS
