another cheap and simple but must have mod
after buying rare earth magnets for steering, you have an extra ceramic magnet. what to do with this magnet you ask? glue it to the tip of the controller antenna.
some antennas even are the same diameter.

What does this do? increase range? How much range, if any?
If it does then I will buy a rare earth mag from the store to put on my remote!

no you put the rare earth in your steering arm.
you put the ceramic on the antenna so you have an easy tool to pick metal filings out from undernet the car.(especially after putting the stonger magnet in the car)

I ment that I would buy a rare earth mag for my controler as well as for my car if it improved reception. Stronger mag = better reception, but since that is not the case then I will just use to get stuff out of my car like you said.
