First, make sure there isn't any lint, hair, carpet fiber or similar material stuck between one of the wheels. If not, make sure both front wheels spin with the same amount of freedom. If one wheel has significantly more friction than the other, that will affect handling. One wheel may be tighter than the other on the opposite side. If the car is still stock rear wheel drive, make sure the differential is working smoothly. You should be able to see the rear wheels turn in opposite directions if you turn one by hand without any feel of gear binding. If you are running on a surface with poor traction and are using the stock tires and springs, you may want to try softer rear springs and/ or tires from the upgrade kits.
Try each of the above tips one at a time to see if it helps correct the problem.
