I got mine on friday and an Xmod does work on it.It reads in KM/h.I have only tested it out a couple of times and I did have to hold the car on there.
It will tell you max speed achieved over a 30 second period and it has a distance/drag race type feature that you set the distance to run and it times it.(I havnt gotten to use this feature yet)
I'll try to get a picture of it up sunday sometime, no promises since I'll be busy cutting parts.
Viperkilla, it could be used with a mini-x, my abc dtm is a bit to long to fit a mini-z should fit but I'm not sure since I dont have a mini-z.

Mini-z's and xmods are the same size depending on wheelbase settings used.

How fast did yours go? I might try getting one soon from my LHS to find out how fast other motors are. At my hobby shop i saw them for I think about $12. I'm not sure anymore because its been a loooong while since I've been there because they rip me off sometimes.
