Problem, body related?

So i am running my xmod with no body right, shes SCREAMING. I put the light kit and wild body on my xmods shell, and slap it on the chassis....shes running at literally half power. So i inplug the lights, no difference. So i take the body off, SCREAMS.....why is my body making my car loose half its umph, its not that heavy....cant see anything rubbing...hmm

Also can i use a AA instead of a AAA as my 5th cell?

I think that happens to everyone. My friend with a Mini-Z does that too. I can't imagine the heavy burden of that tiny plastic body would slow it down that much. It might just be that the sound is muffled and it's bigger, so it seems slower. I dunno.
