painting

I want to paint my skyline. im planing on using a Navy Blue Belton Spay paint can. Should i sand the car down before i paint or just spray the paint on?

Soak it for about 15 min in brake fluid then scrub the paint of with an old but clean toothbrush

Red face I WOLDNT DO THAT

I wouldnt use break fluid. It will take the paint off but I have also heared of it removing bumpers ect. Break fluid is over kill The best ways I have heard of is using a very fine grit sand paper. Or if you have a sister take her nail polish remover. You could always use paint thiner. or just paint over the original paint.

Instead of sanding it down, just spray a few light coats of primer on it. Then spray whatever paint you want on it.
