get a precision screwdriver set...
hey... it's useful for anything... worth the $5-$7 at RadioShack... i prefer it because you can rest the rotating end in your palm so and can easily and comfortably remove screws without needing to put so much wrist into it... `=]
i'm not lazy... i just think ergnomically

First off which part of the screw is being stripped? The slotted end or the thredded end? If it is the slotted end just get a better screwdriver. Wal-mart has an excellent set...$5 I think. They are yellow w/ black rubber grips in a yellow case. They are much better than the one you get w/ the starter kit. Back on subject if its the threadded end, just don't screw them in so tight. I doubt that plastic could strip metal but you never know.
