Help Smoke!!!!!
I WAS TAKIN APART MY CAR TONIGHT AND I LOOKED DOWN AND SAW SMOKE AND THE WEIRDEST PART IS IT WASNT EVEN ON!!!!CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED AND WHAT I CAN DO TO STOP FROM DOING IT AGAIN OH YEAH ITS A SKYLINE.THANX

I had that happen briefly once, just make sure to take the batteries out before working on it and it wont burn.

If you have the heatsink, the battery packet could have touched it. Check your range. Because mine did the same and the range got really bad since I think I fried it. Had to exchange mine

I had the same problem YeLLoW. I was playing with mine last night and suddenly it started to kick out. I opened it up and smoked belowed out of it. I dont think it was my 6 mod due to the fact that it ran fine for 3 days w/o a problem. Maybe i reversed polarity somehow...anyways....I'm exchanging mine today at lunch

Remember that all electronics are really powered by smoke. Once you let that smoke escape, it will stop working.

happend to me too, happend after i ran it for the first time with the light then the brack light sorted i have to take it back

6 cell w/ lights
It seems that the 6 cell and lights will fry the internal antennas wires and kill the range on all cars. there is a fix for it by installing a different receiver (Thanks Pinoy274 for this info). Hopefully we will have some more information on how to install this receiver
