I took the lights out and openned it again, no smoke but now it has a major stutter problem when I run it wat whent wrong?!?!

antennea

Sounds like you shorted the antennea. Try leaving the lights out and make sure the antennea wire is soldered onto the little clip at the base of the antennea well and then make sure that the antenna, the wire and the clip at the bottom of the antennea is not touching anything metal. If all of the above looks okay, box it back up and head back to radioshack. They're pretty understanding of things and when you tell them that the lights shorted something out, they'll probably exchange it for you as long as you haven't hacked up the inners like me

on my grandpa....LOL

No, seriously, depends on if he's a (BC EDIT: Word removed), if it's over 90 days and if it's been tore up.

BC EDIT: Watch the language please.

**Sorry, I didn't realize that was a forbidden word** let me rephrase that as "it depends if the RS manager is a jerk"

you can't tell

Many times you can't tell if something is fried just by looking at it. If it's real bad then there will be black marks around it etc...but if it's a a mild short, then you can't tell by looking at it.

calm down! you say the steering is stutering, right?? if it is you might do well to get a new servo. i am not sure if that will work but it might be worth a try.
