ertl??

That looks like the Ertle model kit that I have. If it is, then the body is about 4x too big.....would be sweet if we could find a tiny General body though.

True the body is pretty big, that's why I have a hacked up xmod chassis in the pic...I'm gonna integrate the xmod steering and suspension into the model's frame and stuff...I'll post pics as I go along.

So the chassis is going to be, literally, in a few different pieces connected by the body? I suppose that'd work, but you're right, it'll take some work.

Won't be too rigid, either.
As though Chargers ever handled well.

yeah it will be like a unibody frame in some 1:1 cars where there is no frame, its kinda like the body is the chassis

that looks like an awesome project. ive always wanted to hook up some xmod parts to my little s13 model, fr style. been thinking of a strut suspension design. too much of a hassle for me. good luck with that project man!
