how are they?

ok i got one ?

i was thinking of getting a tiny rc car for my little cousin after he's been drooling over my pride and joy (micro rs4 and stampede and t-amxx....) and was wondering if they are really good for what you pay or is the ~$50 what you get?

thanks for the help if any!

shibby,

like mine

I like it....It's comparable in speed to one of the bigger just as expensive Tyco type cars and you can add stuff on unlike a Tyco, but the Tycos can take more punishment if he/she is a little kid, then get a Tyco because these are kinda fragile..

They are best on a smooth floor, hard carpet, or even a tennis court. I mostly play with mine on a tennis court and can still slide it around. I have also run it on my paved blacktop driveway, but it can get a little rough. The main problem is the ground clearance. The best car for ground clearance is the Civic, it has more than the others.

defentally a paived road with no rocks, cuz all the xmods sits soo low to the ground, also works great inside on tile or in a garage. as long as he doesnt crash it into walls and chairs all the time it should hold up.

micros are awsome handles just like a 1/10 touring because it uses standard size servos

for further ?'s go to http://www.one18th.com

speed they can kick 1/10 scale with the right setup

I buy all my rc stuff from here
http://www2.towerhobbies.com
search for micro rs4

if you'd ever consider micro and want off road team losi has a 1/18th scale stadium truck comin out in a couple of weeks and pti has a micro monster tuck comin out next year all info at one18th.com

Yea i've driven a couple of Micro RS4's and they are pretty good almost like if i was driving one of my 1/10 scale touring cars...I have heard real good things about the Mini XXX-T.

best place to run

IMHO...indoors and in garages (unless these people are talking about parking garages) aren't enough room to run these things. I haven't tried it outside on the blacktop yet, but indoors and in a 2 car garage is not enough room. I've only ran mine in the parking garage at work and that's pretty fun. Would be a great place to race..

After I got the K3 for my MS4 this is like a turtle, but 6 cell it, put your own electronics in AWD, S2 Motor, Suspension upgrade and it's great, but still my K3 went 300x faster
