just got my xmod skyline yesterday. and i already moded a mini-z X-speed wow it flies. the turning radius aint that great is it just mine. or is that how they are. my overland turns better. but oh well i love it. totaly worth da 50 bucks. as i mod it ill post some pics. i plan to paint it too.

how many feet across is your turning radius?? mine is prob 3 or 4. make sure you set the ST RANGE on your controler to max.

Putting softer tires in the front will help you turn sharper, and roll the car too if you are not careful.

here's a pic of his xmod that i modded... i installed an x-speed and a custom 10 tooth nylon spur....hmmm i wonder what this rear ratio's at ?

it's pretty fast now....it beats a stock mini-z

how much faster is the xmod with the x speed then the red (drag) stege 2 motor

I put the xspeed motor in my skyline. I had to reverse the positive and negative wires on the xspeed to make it work properly. Did you have to do the same during install? here is a link to the thread that tells the problem I encountered by switching these wires.
