an idea for cheap easy neons

just use a bunch of colored crhistmas lights if you turnem the right way the fit and cause the right effect and also easy to get because its almost christmas and people will throw out broken strands of em get a bunch that are the same color and vwala you got neons -also they are cheaper and use less power than leds and wont give as spotty of light like leds do (spoty as in looks like a circle when shined on something )

p.s. sorry if this idea is posted but im sure its not in the xmods forum

i think they are more power then leds, bigger, the light burns out, and they break....

what did u use to power them cause i tried this to my zz before and i was powering it with a watch batterie and it wouldnt light

watch baterie is too weak do the extra cell mod and wire it to there or i guess you could splice the light kit some and put like 7or8 of them on a seperate wire conected to one of the head light things or spider them out like two to each light the leave enough wire to put them through the bottom if you want it to work you can make it work
