More Bodies
I was wondering if i could use any other bodies like die cast ones. that are 1/24 scale i saw a lexus is 300 at target that i want to use on my xmod. will it work?

Even if it does work, it'll slow the car down pretty badly. If you really want an IS300 (aka Altezza) you'd be better off getting the Kyosho AutoScale version that fits the Mini-Z and adapting it over.

Mini Z from Kyosho does make the Altezza body, but its really rare to find on Ebay..

I am also looking for an Altezza body to put on my XMOD in the future, but for now- I'll just keep my original IS300

www.towerhobbies.com has that particular body cheaper... $19.99 for the Altezza, in all three colors.
If you happen to want an Audi TT, BMW Z8, or Honda S2000, they are as cheap as $7.99...

check tinyrc's sister site, mini-zracer. the shop carries lots of autoscales as well as the newly released white or unpainted bodies for those that just end up repainting them anyway...
