i saw one drift at the end, looked a bit like a powerslide, but the rest were donuts.

lol man why did you spray wd40 on your floor? did you use something to cover it before spraying? lol
just get the awd kit and put tape on your wheels man...its the best makeshift job that acctually works for drifting

not "drifting" but more breaking the tires loose...
Anyways. i got the awd kit today, and i installed it with fwd only VERY easy all you do is take the rear diff out... but anyways.. yea.
i dont have enough room on my chair mat to "drift" but i know what drifting is...

it's a controlled slide through a turn. just picture any rally races you've ever seen on dirt. or midget car racing on a dirt oval, they drift a lot. heck, just watch any movie with a car chase scene where they make a quick turn and throw the rear end out.
also, a good way to learn more about racing terms, read the initial D books and look at the glossary.
hmmm...now i'm thinking of an initial D mod for my car....
