is it exposed to spark?
when i go from reverse to forward in my supra, something inside the engine sparks. should i take it back? is it broke? does anyone else's do the same thing?  please somebody help.

First off its a motor not an engine. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. My dremel tool does that and it works fine

Its working fine.
It's just the brushes arcing a little.(totally normal in a brushed motor)
Dont worry about it, just have fun running it.

Sounds kinda cool to me..wish mine would spark, but like..bigtime..gigantic showers of sparks from beneath the sideskirts..that'd be cool. Probably wouldn't be too good for the car..but hey, least it'd look sweet.
