my new xmod - few ideas

so far i have a skyline kit, light set, AWD, stage two motors, bearing set, and my nimhs from my miniz cars

id have to say the best upgrade was from alks to nimhs - like night and day

my question is does anyone know anything about the electronics? im going to tear into it tommorrow (as if the AWD didnt take enough time) and see if maybe a micro esc/servo/rx would fit

also has anyone greased their shocks? mine bounces around on marble floors while cornering (stock springs)

i was also thinking that the heatsink that comes with the stage two set is just TOO FRIGGIN heavy - should be aluminum - i think its some kind of cheap metal - also does anyones get burning hot? with the 10-11 pinion stage two motor - mine gets real hot even with the heatsink

the bearing set sucks - not even shielded bearings - seems like they could have charged a little more and gotten shielded bearings

i pulled mine apart last night right before i saw your post - im doubting i could get anything cool in there - very limited space - but i wonder if the FET's could be upgraded (or if they need to be) because a miniz motor fits perfectly, but the pinion gear is of a different mesh than the miniz motors - and i dont have a pinion puller to get the xmod pinion off the motor
