Talking My 'Billet Grill' Mod...
Ok....today I was interested in doing the intercooler mod...
Looked at the thread, looked at my huge staples line.
I then thought...
'Hmmm....Wait. The staples are just a little bit smaller than my Impreza's grill....Hehehe....'
I got a huge grin, cut the staples as little as I could, and after just one foiled attempt....(I used needlenose pliers to hold the grill instaed of having to glue it twice....I found that out after attempt #1...)
I did it!
They fit almost perfectly in the Impreza's grill, and it looks really cool, like a Chrome/Polished Silver Billet Grill!
You might want to paint the VERY edges if you want a super profesional look...But I didn't have paint at the time.
Sorry, I don't have pictures, my digital Camera felt the wrath of someone kicking sand on it...
Oh yeah, I used wood glue to glue the staples in...
I use wood glue for everything...
If someone else does this, can you please post pictures?

UPDATE:
The small air intake I made 'Billet', too.
I used the excess cuttings and placed them in the air intake.

im gonna try that with a bb im getting from tru today..my digital camera sux alot but ill still try to post some pic when im done...(yea..im getting a BB and its gonna get a big makeover i.e a body kit, rims, blazer mod, lights, dropped, suspesion, tri celled, and more..)

yeah it might not work but its wortha try...i didn't get the Bb at TRU today because they were out of stock..instead i got skyline and ust getting a Bb body later when they are back in stock...but for now im modding the chassis by puttting a 200maH battery and a 4.2 king pro...the skyline hs a grill so im gonna do it with it...
