Light removal?

Ive i want to remove the lighting system off my WRX can i do that, just take it off the body, will eh car still work even tho stuff isnt connected.. rather not there? And would my run time be longer? thanks

i think its just a small difference in run times with the lights on. i just un swrewed them and ripped em out. i think i could put them back in but have to tape them on to the body. if you had a lot of time you could bend the connector things in but i tried and it took to much time. later

ya u can take off the lights if u like and it will still work. the contacts are just for the lights nuthing else. so if u dont want the lights then go ahead and take it off. if u want the lights and dont want to take it off but then again dont want the light to be on sumtimes then take a peace of paper and put it above the contact and the lights would not be turned on

or you can just bend the prongs back so they dont make contact and if you ever want them you can bend them back.

LEDs dont draw that much current so i dont think your run time will be that much different but its worth a shot
