anyone have the perfection light kit?
http://www.sunrichcompany.com/webpag...p?productID=11
its only a few bucks. Does it work well? Is it hard to install?
Do you need to solder anything? And does it come with everything you need to put on the lights?

Just so you know, Sunrich only sells to dealers and wholesellers.

Not unless you are a dealer and they accept your application. You can get them at www.toyeast.com though.

ok, i can still get the light set off toyeast for 3.60.
The white set is 5 bucks.
Is it worth the 3.60?
Anyone know how much it weighs?
I dont think i will get it. I dont know if it will be that bright.

Yes, it's worth it. I bought one a couple months ago. No soldering required. It comes all ready to install, with 2 batteries and some putty to hold things in place. I've looked around to try to find the parts to build my own, and either I can't find the parts that small, or the LEDs alone are $1.00 a piece.

so its worth the 3.60?
So the lights dont go through the body, just sit on the inside of it?
should i cut holes in the body to make it brighter?
I wonder what body i should use.
I have the auto modellista rx7 body, and the AM gray r34 skyline. The r34's headlight areas are long and skinny, and on the rx7, the front inside of the body is weird. It would require sanding. I think i will use the yellow nsx body im getting from a pullback for racing, and the rx7 for the lights.
Any idea how much weight the lights add?

IMO, I'd stay away from the perfection light set. I've had 2 wires break on mine and I had to resolder them. I finally just went to an electronics store and got some surface mount LEDs that would run off of 1.5 volts and made my own set with taillights too. The weight they add is negligible, fortunately.

I used the battery holder from the perfection light set, because it seemed to be the only good part on the whole thing. And now I'm gonna have to get what ph2t's got on his so I can make mine really bright. With the weight issue: it is noticeable, but only when turning at high speed with like a 4.2 or something really fast like that. The problem is the battery is located at the top of the body, which is far from ideal. the best place would be to attach it to the chassis, where it is lower and will actually aid in handling.
