If I remember correctly, you simply have to solder 1 of the wires coming from the pager motor to the motor casing itself, cut the other to about 4cm-8cm, and strip the rubber off, causing a contact for the metal plate that the stock motors use for contact. I think they recomend that you put a small dot of solder on the stripped wire to help with contact, but if you have a steady hand, you should be able to cut the wire right. I tried to take the motor out of an old cell phone, and it had a wierd brace on it, so I couldn't attempt to connect it, never tried again. Hope this helps.

dang, it think that was actually it. Good memory. Now the bad thing is i chopped both wires, now ima have to take anotehr wire and replace it or soemthing. But no worries, ive got 2.6s, and 3.0s all over, and hopefully a 3.8, very soon.

pager motor

i took apart an old pager it had a casing over it to i ripped it off though i didnt hook it up but tested it by just touching the wires to the metal it spun but didnt sound like it pushed much power. Can someone who has tried this tell me if it is any faster then any of the motors. thanks.

I tried a motorola pager and unfortunatly it was slow. I'ld say like a 1.6 or at best a 2.2. The pager was from maybe 6-7yrs ago though, don't know about any of the newer ones. It was also slimmer than the bit and zip motors. Not worth it in my opinion.
