I'd get the Z if I was you, but I'm not so it's up to you... My Z is my favorite car hands down...

Definately the z. It's a 2 speed and that definately comes in handy.

Defintialy the Z. 2-speeds are the best thing to ever happen to these. Now all we need is true proportional throttle and steering.

what are you people talking about? the z is not a ****in' 2 speed! read the parts on the box. get the skyline set. you get 3 kick-ass bodies, the better frequency, and the better handling and motor! and the car is beter looking in all cases. the z looks like a freakin' bubble that some guy made out of junkyard scrap. go with the skylines, man! not only for the reasons above, but it lasts a lot longer and without these other people telling you different, the skyline is the favorite among Democrats! Lol!

sorry, my bad. the z is a two speed, but the skyline comes with a 4.0 MOTOR!!. the z only has a crappy 2.2. you should still take the skylines hands down. trust me. i have 2 and i love em! ive driven the z before i bought the skylines and it is one god-awful piece of ****.

My 0.02 - It depends on if you want the speed of the 4.0 engine or the handling of the 2.2 engine... look at the specs for what you want to do vs. the body style...

OR better yet... throw caution to the wind and get both.

Get the Z because its a 2 speed. You can always buy a new motor later on, but with the other set, you can never have a 2 speed unless you buy a whole new chassis.

My 57mhz 350 Z Fairlady will out run, and out perform any 35 mhz one speed chassis... Anybody wanna bet?

Different motors are easily obtainable, while a good chassis is not as cheap..

The Skyline set is totally cool, but it can't hold a candle to the Z...

The one you drove must've been damaged, cause as you can see, the people are happy with the Z.. You're the first person to have problems with it that I've heard.. I suggest giving it another try..

Well I would've said the Z,but the bidding is over now. I have one and it is the absolute smoothest running Bit I own (way over 30). If you didn't get that one, but here:

Ok, anyone with ANY driving skills will beat your car on a track with some tire changes. That's just because in the turns your either stopped or going full speed and about to over/understeer while the booster car goes unboosted through the turns and hits the booster on the way out.

And like payaso said, motors are $8 for an upgrade, a better chassis is $20-30.

Oh, I just thought of something. Where you pushing the booster button on that Z in the store? The reason I ask this is because earlier in the thread you said the z is not a (bad word, lol) booster.

okay, lets take into comparison your nissan z with whatever upgrades you have. now can that thing outperform my 57 mhz auto modellista R-34 with a perfection 4.2 king pro, 8:25:1 gears, hard tires, soft suspension, led lights, and a 200 mAh battery? sounds like a challenge to beat! top that, Sucka!

that doesnt sound like much, only thing you got in there is a 4.2,
im pretty sure i can beat that with my Z

and you should chill out a bit, no need to have flame wars here
