Not if you value the electronics in it. While I haven't tried it with a mini-z I did run my mini-x through some water that had been spilled on the floor (very small puddle). Just a few seconds later it stopped running so I picked it up and turned it off. After inspecting it to see if there was a problem I turned it back on and tried to drive it. Within seconds I saw smoke coming from the electronics and I immediately turned it back off. After using compressed air to dry it out I turned it back on and, thankfully, it ran OK. I now consider myself lucky and always make sure my floor is completely dry before running.
