Alcohol + Sharpie?

I ruined my paintjob using a sharpie marker.

The marker bled through my scotch tape mask and smeared all over the top of my car (sun roof).

I am desperate to save my paintjob!

Would anyone recommend me using rubbing alcohol on a qtip to remove the sharpie smear?

Underneathe is Tamiya Gunmetal spray... I'm not sure what kind of paint that is. MY FIRST SPRAY JOB RUINED MY SHARPIE COMPANY!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

nope, that would get the paint too. if you just wanted to get the whole car repainted, just soak it for a few hours in either rubbing alcohol or pinesol. those work really well.

Workin' on my Supra........what should i paint it-Red with black stripe, white with red stripe, or Silver?

what i usually do when i need to take paint off i dab a paper-towel with some goo-gone...it USUALLY takes off the paint....i hope it works for you
