How bout them Edmonton Oilers!!!!

It's great to see another Canadian team doing well in the playoffs.

But anyways...where do you guys get your bit stuff? Is there a place at West Edmonton? I've got a buddy there that's going to N.A.I.T. He actually lives walking distance from West Ed, so i'm thinking of asking him to pick me up some bit stuff. Is there like a main hobby place that sells cheap parts and bits?

yup ther's a place in west ed that sells bits i'm not in edmonton so i can't remember what the place is called at the moment (stupid brain) and well when pie and ralliart knights and the rest (too many to name) come onto the fourms today they can refresh my memory of what the place is called.

yes there is a place in west edmonton mall. its beside Galaxy Land and its called "Commex Hobbie" (Bits only) or theres this other place in the mall called "Kites and Other Delights" and they only sell Microsizers. But if you live in Vancity, shouldnt there be many many import/chinese stores that sells these?

Theres another Comex Hobby too that sells Tamiya paints and stuff along with bits and things...Its in Kingsway

yeah man, West Edmonton Mall has a Comex Hobby.... (owned by a kinda pissy chinese dude tho.. gotta watch it, or he'll lecture you on how microsizers *arent as good as bits*... lol)

Kites and other delights sells MS for cheaper, but i prefer bits...

there's a place in the south called hobby wholesale.. im not too sure what they have, although i know they got some stuff...
they have a MASSIVE selection of tamiya spray cans, and i think it's cheaper there.... so im goin there soon for some clearcoat...

I wish they did. Atleast more of them. All the stores here in Vancity sell clones! There is a place that sells real bits, but they sell them for 60CDN plus tax(tax which you guys don't have - LOL).

I'll tell my buddy to stop by there, do they have all the accessories as well at these shops? Like gears and bodies?

ahh.. our bits here are 54.99..... and lol, no PST ^_^

gears and bodies can be found at both Comex Hobby and Kites and Other Delights, but ur gonna wanna go to both places ... cuz there's not much at either one... lol

should be some gear sets kicking around tho... bodies are a different matter.... me and ralliart been seeing the same 3 accord bodies at Kites for a while now... =\

well to make it short.... yes. they do sell gears, bodies, tiresets, suspension sets, and bodies... (so much for being brief =P)
