Quadra Steer

Souds crazy but has anyone done four wheel steering and still have the rear wheel drive. turning would be sharper

You could take the front off another chassis and hook it up to the rear of a chassis, and you got 4WS, but also have some extra tires there....

I believe it would be possible. Like Xatu said, take the fronts of two cars and make them one. Only problem would be providing power. Would have to use very small pivot shafts like found on real cars that have independent suspension. Hey that's another thing, if you had fronts on both ends, it would be four wheel independant suspension. Also, if you put motors on bother ends, it could be four wheel drive. Slap some bigger tires on it and you have an ATV. I wonder if two motors would be enough to lift it up over rocks...

I was thinking of a flex shaft but the joint axle would do beter. Thanks for the four wheel drive idea because I know how to use a slot car gearing.
