Those motors are hardwired, right? Well, you probably could, just take the wires off of the old motor, and put em on your new motor, simple as that.

It shouldn't mess the motor up, just don't hold the soldering iron on there for too long, it might overheat it.

Yea, you solder one wire to the end bell, and the other wire to the motor casing, or the heatsink. And make sure they are on the correct way, or your car will be going backward...

Huh? A light? Sorry, I don't have experience with Motorworks cars, but just remove it, it will give longer life to your battery.

HeyWorld,
So was your 3.2 motor any faster than the stock motor in there?
Those trucks look good lowered. I lowered mine way low, had to use a bit pcb cover and bit heatsink and remove the stock cover over pcb and motor. Also had to grind down the little nubs on the inside of the truck bed. I glued on the tonneau cover after painting it semi-gloss black. It was a very tight fit, without enough room for the light wires to get back into the cab, so I removed the light.
Think I got a pic around here somewhere. Here it is:

I ended up using the motorworks pcb for another project, but the truck body lives on. It is on a microsizer chassis now. I call it orange crush. It has orange kit racer tires, orange antenna, orange gears, orange (2.6) motor to keep with the orange theme.

What exactly is the point of those lights in the cars, and where are they?
