Update on the Pullback Wide Tires..

I was at work today and had an idea. I was thinking about my 18 wheeler bit because I was using the wheels on my regular dual cell bit. I had to take them apart to jb weld the wheels and axel together because of the dual cell. I noticed that the axel is a little wide than the bit axel but the gears still touch enough to work fine. So I went home tonight and attempted to put the larger pull back tires on the 18 wheeler bit and proceeded to mount them on my sklyine bit. Anyways.....Behold, the wheels and tires fit right in with no major mods at all. The one thing I will have to do is sand down the center ring on the wheels some so the ride true on the tires...This came up because I am doing the full pullback wheels and tire mod this weekend but new there had to be some other areas to try too.

Update: I just installed the front wheels and tires with the tread on them on the front of my 2000GT-R Skyline body with the rear pullback wheels and full bit rig axle on the rear. It's one sweet looking muscle car now.. Will get some shots tomorrow. The wheels look like centerline disk..

Hey, Yours does not run right now so I bet mine will beat yours..lol

Actually, this things looks just like and old muscle car though. I took the bit rig wheels and front tires off of one of them and then I used the rear bit rear axel and larger pull back wheels on them. So basically the wheels look just like the dish centerline muscle car wheels and then the front has treaded tires and the rear huge street slicks...

I installed a 150 nimh batt and a perfection 3.8 motor for now. And in the near future I will do the dual cell mod to this one too maybe. Since I already have a dual cell it is nice having a good running car that still is pretty quick do to the perfection 3.8 motor and such.

I also noticed that my turning radius is much sharper now with the bit rig wheels on the front too. I will try to get some shots today if the graphic girl up here at work brought her digi.

It already easilly pulls wheelies from a stand still with the perfection 3.8 even on my wood floors.

Oh, also it has the dual cat 5 antenna mod!!
