1st Attempt at a Dual Battery Mod...
I did a lot of research from this and other forums before I attempted this...
1 mistake I did make was to put the carriage before the horse?
So I'm now building an AC charger for it.......

Like My Man Sessiz said,
Bunta's is the best page for this type of mod.

buntas is too intrusive for my liking.
i know its a rough diagram but you can fit 2 bats in there without cutting the chassis or the body. no more wheelies tho.
heres a link to an easy way to charge your dual cell.
**edit** the board doesnt have to be flipped.**edit**

How did you fit two cell in there without the one cell near the motor setting up higher than the other one. Even after cutting mine all up it still sets up higher and the pcb does not go down far enough....Where did you find the tutorial on that one? Now I have a internal dual cell that came out of a 18 wheeler bit rig. But the batts are not the same size as the bit batts so it fit in there with some cutting and such but works great.
Also now with that power your going to need to jb weld the gear and axel together soon and also do some tire mods to get traction....The AXEL mod will be a must do within a few runs. Mine lasted about a day and then the gear would spin on the axel and so would both tires.. And I wonder why it was so slow.

well its similar to buntas but you just kinda rest the 2nd one where the pcb originally goes. it just has to rest on top of the wires and stuff. the original battery stays where it was and the pcb kinda drapes over the battery that is sticking up a little. i then tape the whole thing so it stays in place.
this works on all the bodies that i have tested so far. rx7 celica s2k skyline. it should work on most others.

WebGuy.....
My PCB sits flush! Cover even fits in it's original place! No glueing required.
I ordered these batteries:
http://www.batteriesamerica.com/
They are 150mah, shorter & smaller in diameter than the stock Tomy's. A lil Dremeling and I "squeezed" them right in!
