mini-z bodies on kawadam24 mid

has anyone found a good way to mount the mini-z bodies on the
m24?
i have a couple mini-z altezzas and it just won't fit!
basically, the main hindrances are

1. the front - altezza doesn't have enough front overhang
to use the m24 body mount - otherwise, any way to use
the front mount clip from the mini-z? i've tried that mount clip
thing from the m24 kit ( i suppose it's for the optional bumper)
but it still doesn't fit to well...

2. the rear - those kawada wheels are just too wide
for the altezza...i've tried the mini-z motor mount,
but then, i want to use the 14tooth pinion the m24 came with...
thing is, no way to adjust the meshing far enough on
the mini-z motor mount

3. the sides - those battery holders are just too wide!
i tried shaving off the body clip holders on the mini-z body,
but then...how am i going to hold the mini-z body???

otherwise, does anyone know where i can get a nice
lexan 1/24 scale altezza body? i love that car!

feishiaada, I removed the side clips from mine and just used the Kawada mounting system, which I really like. I put Mini-Z tires on instead of the super thick stock ones and everything fits fine. Check out Donut's posts on how to use Mini-Z rims on the MID.

Why don't you use a 1/24 scale model body of an Altezza...Tamiya makes one and Fujimi makes one

hmm, found a somewhat different way of mounting mini-z bodies,
mainly to do with the front body clip.
Basically, the plastic clip part that comes with the kawada m24 mid can be mounted at the top of the body mount posts,
just put a washer over the top, then the body clip, then use the
hairpin clips to fasten it...
works decently well for me...you can then adjust front height as
well while using the original mini-z body....

I now sell 130 sized Super Powerful motors for the Kawada. It's the same motor for the FUZION. This motor will work well with an ES01 (Airtronics ESC) with an 8x2 fet upgrade.

Please check out the pics. The motor mount is a Mid 24 Motor Mount. This is perfect for those who want to use the Mini Z bodies, without compromising power.
