washers
I was thinking of using washers to take up the axel slack in the rims and make my control a little more smooth, anyone else tried this? Where did u get washers so small?

I've got washers both shimming my motor mount (gears were too tight for my liking) and shimming the rear wheels to help decrease the offset when using the MINI body. I had them laying around from a special CPU cooling fan kit that I wasn't using anymore.

Radio Shack has a assorted pack of washers that has the right size in it. They also have nuts that are the right size too, but you will have to the washers with them or they screw down too far. Look in the back of RS where the cabinets are with all the switches, resistors, capacitors..etc are, you will find both washers and nuts there.

if you got a big enough whaser then you could make it kinda look like a brake. dont know if that would look good.
