As in terms of price, quality, size? Please elaborate on this.

i think it depends on how much room you have to drive on. if you're just running on your kitchen floor, i would get a ZZ. if you've got more room, i'd get the xmod. the new ZZ's are great. that's all i have the room for. if i had more room, i'd get both!

I'd have to say XMODS because I have enough room to run it around.

I'd have to say that the two arent even close to each other- the only thing that they have in common is the fact that they are made by radioshack. You cant even compare them like this.

It seems that the XMod is just a faster more customizable ZipZap.
p.s. Should I get a refund on my ZipZap SE and save for an XMod or just exchange it for a new ZipZap SE?

I've gone from 1/10(Taymia tl01), 1/18(micro rs4), 1/64(zz) to 1/28(xmod) i find the smaller the better, there easy on ur wallet and don't brake as much, my 1/10 didn't have run for a year because on part broke, 1/18 hasn't been run for three months, x-mod, zz still run fine and fast. just my two cents of go with the x-mod u'll like it alot of fun

It's not an even comparison.
Different scale, different price ranges.
By all means, do BOTH!!
(nice title..)

I went and checked out the xmods, and I want one! My wife said that she would get me the Skyline GT-R and the all wheel drive parts for christmas! I like the ZZ's, but the overall upgradability and performance put the Xmod a little bit ahead of the ZZ.
In a nutshell, they are both great cars for their respective scale.
