You've got the WRONG idea thinking there isn't as many mods because the DigiQ is less popular.
...Once you upgrade to a Digi Propo Special controller, EVERYTHING is configurable from an LCD screen. Whereas you've got to do a mod for the same thing on a Bit.
For instance:
To make the car faster
- With a Bit you'd have to try different gearing and motors
- With a DigiQ, you squeeze the trigger harder.
To get better reception/distance
- With a Bit you've got to modify the Antenna (car and controller), or even try soldering in new antennas
- With a DigiQ, it's already using Infrared which has a range of about 15-20 feet
I'm not saying the DigiQ is a superior car (in some respects it is, is some it isn't)...But DON'T mistake a lack of modification options as a sign of popularity (or lack thereof)
