The Civic was Gold to begin with. So I was talking about the Charcoal flames. I just masked the rest of the body, so only the flames were exposed, I sprayed from behind the car, so the paint would miss the front end, giving me a little bit of a fade.
The S2000 I did the otherway. Painting it Silver, masking off the flames, then painting the rest of the body Charcoal.
After trying it both ways, I think I get better results painting the body color first, then adding the flames on top.
