clones tend to hold charge quite well... for soem odd reason... im not sure why, but i charged a battery in my clone and switched it into my bit, and the damn thing ran forever... im thinkin the PCB and the charger allow more current or voltage to flow through... in fact, im almost certain....
it's an interesting thing to analyze tho... and if one could swap the PCB from a clone into a bit, then it'd do some serious owning...
also, if you lose the steering spring, it's not hopeless... a makeshift one can be crafted from a floppy disk spring (MUCH twisting and sanding)... it dun work well, but it works
