The reciever on the char g is a simple one, It discriminates between what frequencies to listen to, there are components on the board which set the listened to frequency.

So removal of certain components would mean the car would work with ne controller.
This is handy if u have a bit with no controller.

Also, If the components can be determined, we could change frequencies easily on the car.
