I just pulled my 27 MHz bit out of the box, and I am getting 3-5 feet max....
The reception is so bad, that if I stand up with the controller in my hands and the bit at my feet, I lose reception. I have to lay down with my arms outstretched towards the car....and after about 3 feet, it starts to get jerky and will not turn.
I pulled my controller apart, and unfortunately, I do not see a cripple capacitor. There isn't on the car's board either.
Batteries are brand new...
Is this normal? I am very disapointed.
