ive ran both rwd and fwd cars and i found the rwd to be super tail happy cuz of all the weight in the back (battery and motor) i would find that i would spin out if i hit full throttle from the start. the problem with the rwd drive m-chassis is the gear box has the opening on the wrong side, and thus you have to use a reverse rotation motor (usually sold in pairs that company's made for the clod buster.) so the fwd are able to use the better motors.. i would imagine that the longer wheel bases would give you more drift. hope this helps.
