=) actually... they dont call it an 86 cuz it was made in 86.. it does make sense, but im almost certain that's not how they did it...
cuz the levin (ae85) was made all through the same years as the trueno was, and simply was a weaker, ecomony car version... im waayy too lazy to look up the specifics, but im sure there's a reason why they call it the 86...
generally japanese cars arent given names, just the production tag,: ae86, FC3S, FD, SW20, ehhh.. i dunno evo3's production tag
