You really gotta put soft tires on the rear, its changes everything. I was intimidated by the wire layout but I've taken it apart to toy with the steering several times. first you un-latch the circuit board and gently lift it up a bit. The front assembly cover pops off simply by bending it downward. Youll probably have to repostion the battery contacts on the bottom of the car when you re-assemble as they tend to get pulled out. I put in a rem and bent the spring a bit to correct the right veering but it still could use a double spring mod. These cars are no match for a bit as far as handling and overall qaulity but they do offer a certain level of fun with theyre intense speed. It's just a neat car to have when your in the mood for some carefree zoom'in.
