My third shell is lowrider/lead sled body based on the typical early 80`s American saloons. This was made by taking a mould of a Matchbox Powertrack slot-car, casting a plastic model in it. I then took a section about 3cms long out of te middle of the model making it into a 2 door from a 4 door. The arches were re-sculpted and another plastic shell was formed using the vacuum machine. This one was a little thicker so i could carve into it using my dental handpiece/drill and various burrs. This needs a lot more finishing work than the others due to the straight edge body lines. I`m getting ther slowly but surely!Sory about the pics. Its a webcam!
