Thanks for the replies. Actually I'm running the Peak Wind 45t motor, 7.2v, and 13T pinion. So far, no problems with the ESC. With a 42T spur, 29mm wheels, and at 26000 rpm, my theoretic speed is just over 27mph. It seems that I've read of dtms running well over this speed. I know the stock spur gear on a DTM is 40T so that will add some speed. What I'm ultimately trying to achieve is a 35mph DRR. Is anyone running a larger pinion than 14T? Also, are the DTM wheels larger than 29mm in diameter? Thanks, again.
