I think that the 2 batteries in your charger is not enough to charge the 2 cells you have in the car. If my math is not off,, you are using 3.0 volts from your controller to charge a 2.4 volt battery in the car. The difference in voltage is not enough to get a good charge. You need a 3 or 4 battery charger.
