Did a dual cell conversion along with a pcb swap this morning with a clone board. I used batteries out of two zipzaps and installed them according to the instructions found in this forum. Also modified the controller to direct charge the batteries. Problem is that the run time is near zero. My voltage starts out at 2.5 to 2.6 volts at the charging contacts. When I run the car, the voltage almost instantly drops to around 0.9 volts. and the car stops running. As soon as I stop the voltage increases back to 2.5. I direct charge the car for about 2 to 2.5 minutes. Any ideas appreciated.
