Yes, and there are good explainations for that (the details of which are not coming to me at the moment), but they mostly stem for the fact that your listening to a signal broadcast for a very powerful transmitter a long way away and having the chaance to bounce off and interact with all kinds of stuff including the atmosphere..... Most of these things don't come into play on our
scale.
And besides, I'm still hoping to discover a specific cause that we can rectify!
