Btman, I would say it would be possible, but not straightforward. The ESC/RX would be a great candidate for the wide open Kawada chassis, but like you say, the servo would be the tricky part. The Kawada's tie-rod style steering (not to be confused with the so called tie-rod in the Mini-Z which is just a notched shaft) is expecting to be connected to a servo horn, which is not present on the Mini-Z's specialized servo. I would just get a micro servo to replace the Kyosho rather than trying to mechanically alter the Mini-Z servo in order to make it usable.
