OK - then I am stumped too. Usually, there is a disproportionate amount of steer spring tension on one lead or the other, which makes it harder for the magnet to pull the steering assembly in one direction or the other. Therefore the car tends to turn better in one direction, as the steering assembly can move easier in one direction.
