do the zip zap wall pieces snap together?

i was going to get a bunch of the microsizer track pieces, but they dont snap together, and they are easily knocked apart during a race.

the zip zap sets seem like a pretty good deal at $10 for 40+ pieces.

anyone know if the digi q circuit pieces snap together? it looks like they do.
