Your receiver should fit. However, if you want to use the shorter wheelbase bodies (I use the RX-7) it will probably be a good idea to get the SP Tie-rod set or the Front Side Tie-Rod set so you can move the servo forward. If you use the servo saver, you will get by with a smaller servo without worrying about stripping the gears. Plus, you save space and weight. The Du-Bro saver is a big, big, big improvement over my improvised servo saver.

FYI, my Mid uses a Kyosho Mini-Z ball diff, bearings, front axles, Square rims, and a homemade suspension plate. Motor is the stock can with with ball bearings and an NML armature.
